CyberLeek threatens to leak all of GTA 6 five weeks before launch
CyberLeek is back. The source behind this summer's GTA 6 leaks has posted around 25 minutes of footage from a development build, with first-person driving and dirt bike races, and is now threatening to release the whole game, «start to finish». There are two conditions: revive its cryptocurrency, or have Take-Two release GTA 6 on disc and apologise publicly. Here's who's behind it, what the video shows, what Rockstar has said and how to dodge spoilers until 19 November.

Who is CyberLeek?
CyberLeek appeared on 18 August 2026. Over a week it posted videos from a development build of GTA 6, with shootouts, police chases, driving, a basketball game, the radio stations and chunks of the map. In one clip the player shot the word «LEEK» into a wall as a signature. Thanks to those images, the community filled in much of the map of Leonida.
What's unusual is the message. CyberLeek doesn't present itself as just a leaker but as a kind of vigilante against the industry: it says it opposes digital pre-orders, paid content and games that stop working when servers are shut down. It even published a list of «commandments» that companies must follow to avoid becoming its target:

NEW GTA 6 Leakers Demands Released 👇 They are actually moving like prime Anonymous, They said they wont stop leaking if you are a 'Target' company violating these 'Commandments'.
The catch is that the same group also promoted its own cryptocurrency, which makes plenty of people doubt this is really about standing up for players.
The mystery poll that announced it
After weeks of silence, on 5 October a poll with two hidden options appeared on the leaker's website. The winning option would be released when voting closed on 8 October. That was enough to put GTA 6 news accounts on alert:

CyberLeek might be BACK. A mysterious new poll featuring two hidden options has appeared on the GTA 6 leaker’s website, with the winning choice set to be released after voting ends on October 8. It is currently unclear whether CyberLeek is actually behind the new activity.… Read more on X
What the 25 minutes show
The video arrived on 8 October. As described by Push Square and VideoCardz, it runs to about 25 minutes and includes several moments people can't stop talking about:
- First person. Jason drives several cars with the camera inside the vehicle, hands on the wheel, and when he gets out he keeps walking around the city in the same view.
- Dirt bikes. A race along dirt tracks, cutscene included, pointing to races as a side activity.
- Open world. Wandering around Leonida and a few story scenes with Jason and Lucia.
- Nudity. Jason appears fully naked in some sections and Lucia in a bikini. It fits with what the game's PEGI 18 and ESRB M ratings already flagged: nudity and sex scenes.
Will GTA 6 have a first-person mode?
That's the big question the video leaves behind. Rockstar hasn't addressed it, but there's precedent: GTA V added first-person view when it was re-released on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2014, and Red Dead Redemption 2 had it from day one. What appears in a development build isn't a guarantee for the final game: it could be an internal tool, a half-finished feature or something cut before launch. But seeing it there, working both on foot and in cars, is a good sign for anyone who missed it.
The threat: the whole game, or discs and an apology
On 10 October, content creator LegacyKillaHD reported that CyberLeek had gone a step further: it is threatening to release a playable build of GTA 6 «start to finish». And it has conditions:
- That its cryptocurrency is revived, or
- That Take-Two releases GTA 6 on disc and apologises publicly.

BREAKING: The GTA 6 leaker "CyberLeek" has finally threatened to release a playable build of GTA 6. They claim its playable "start to finish". Again ties it directly to a revival of his memecoin OR if Take-Two releases physical discs & a public apology. Whether he's lying or… Read more on X
The disc demand has a reason behind it: as we explain in our launch guide, the physical edition of GTA 6 doesn't include a disc, just a download code. It's exactly the kind of practice the leaker claims to be fighting. LegacyKillaHD also warned that major story spoilers could come out as proof that it has the full game.
What Rockstar has said
Rockstar has spoken only once, in August, in an Instagram statement reported by Kotaku. It apologised for the long wait, admitted the leaks had been «heartbreaking» for the team and asked players to wait until 19 November to discover the game for themselves. Take-Two, for its part, has taken legal action to identify those responsible, according to Dexerto.
On the new 25 minutes and October's threat, not a word so far.
How to dodge spoilers until 19 November
If you want to reach launch day knowing nothing about the story, these tricks help:
- X (Twitter): go to Settings and privacy → Privacy and safety → Mute and block → Muted words, and add «CyberLeek», «GTA 6 leak» and «GTA VI leak».
- YouTube: on any leak video that shows up, tap the three dots and choose «Don't recommend channel».
- TikTok: in Settings → Content preferences, use «Filter video keywords» with the same terms.
- Groups and forums: mute any GTA chats and forums that don't tag spoilers for a few weeks.
