GTA 6's rumored Lucia went live on Instagram and dodged hundreds of questions about the game
Manni L. Perez, the actress fans have pointed to as GTA 6's Lucia for years, went live on Instagram for the first time and didn't say a single word about the game. According to IGN, it lasted 12 minutes, drew more than 2,100 viewers and hundreds of Vice City comments, and she sidestepped every one of them like a pro. Here's what happened on the stream, why she can't talk, and what we actually know about the cast with less than a month to go before launch.

What happened on Manni L. Perez's livestream?
Nothing, and that's exactly why it went viral. The actress went live on Instagram on the night of October 24 and within seconds the chat was flooded with "Lucia", "GTA 6" and flags from all over the world. She didn't flinch: she talked about meal prepping for the week, her dog, how much she hates showering at the gym, and how she's no millionaire, just someone driving an old second-hand sedan.

One moment got plenty of people reading between the lines. She said she isn't a big fan of social media, "but for the work that I do, unfortunately, we need it", and that she hardly ever takes photos. Meanwhile the chat kept going: "the NDA must be crazy", "ready for November?" and "in less than a month you'll be one of the most famous faces in the world". Not a wink, not a single extra smile.
Is Manni L. Perez the actress who plays Lucia in GTA 6?
Officially, nobody knows. Rockstar hasn't announced the cast and Perez has never said she's in the game.
Dodging hundreds of questions for 12 minutes doesn't prove anything either way. What is clear is that, if she really is in the game, she couldn't say so anyway: actors on a project this tightly guarded work under non-disclosure agreements, and the chat knew it perfectly well.
Which GTA 6 actors are confirmed?
Just one, and on his own initiative. As Push Square reported, Stephen Root, the voice of Bill in King of the Hill, admitted in a September interview with the Associated Press that he's in GTA 6. He didn't say who he plays, but his voice is unmistakable and everything points to Brian Heder, the veteran smuggler who talks to Jason at the start of the second trailer.
For everyone else, we'll have to wait. GTA 6 launches on November 19 and, once the game is out, the credits will tell us who's who, so in a few weeks we'll know whether fans were right all along. In the meantime, one request: Perez has been hit with harassment over this rumor for years, so let's enjoy the mystery without hounding her.
