Who plays Jason and Lucia? The actors linked to GTA 6

Rockstar Games hasn't confirmed who plays Jason and Lucia, but two names have been doing the rounds for years: Dylan Rourke and Manni L. Perez. Since the Extended Look premiered, IMDb has credited them as Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, although anyone can edit that page. Here's where each rumour comes from, how much of it holds up, why Rockstar is keeping quiet and the ugly side of all this curiosity.

Who is the actor behind Jason Duval?

The name you'll hear most is Dylan Rourke, an American TV actor. The rumour started in May 2024, when YouTuber LegacyKillaHD claimed a source had pointed to Rourke as Jason, and fans have been piling up clues ever since: the physical and vocal resemblance, the fact that his Instagram account followed Manni L. Perez for a while, and a 2019 congratulations from his agency for landing a major video game role, right when GTA 6's first scenes were being shot.

Some fan accounts already treat it as fact, like this one, which billed it as "100% confirmed". It isn't: Rockstar hasn't said a word.

Who is the actress behind Lucia Caminos?

For Lucia, the name is Manni L. Perez, an American actress and voice actor based in New York. Her name has been circulating since the first trailer in December 2023, mostly because of how much her face and voice resemble the protagonist's. According to fans, she had also already voiced minor characters in GTA Online, so she wouldn't be a stranger to Rockstar.

This is the comparison that's been shared the most, with Lucia from the trailer on one side and the actress on the other:

Why won't Rockstar say who they are?

Because it never does ahead of time. It was the same with GTA V: nobody officially knew that Ned Luke, Shawn Fonteno and Steven Ogg were Michael, Franklin and Trevor until the game came out. Rockstar's actors work under very strict non-disclosure agreements, and the studio would rather the public meet the characters before the people playing them.

The good news is that the wait usually pays off. GTA V's three leads became gaming celebrities, with years of interviews, conventions and streams. If it's confirmed, something similar awaits Rourke and Perez from 19 November.

The dark side of the rumour

All this curiosity comes at a cost. Manni L. Perez has been harassed for years over her supposed link to Lucia, to the point of deactivating her social media. And in her absence, fake accounts have popped up: one Instagram account posing as her has more than 50,000 followers, with posts and even childhood photos generated with AI.

If you come across an account claiming to be one of the GTA 6 actors, be wary: neither of them has spoken publicly about the game.
