Justice dates its GTA 6 score and drops a seven-minute track with Gesaffelstein

The Grand Theft Auto VI Original Score, composed by French duo Justice, comes out on December 11, 2026 on streaming services, double CD and triple vinyl, and pre-orders are already open. Rockstar announced it alongside a brand-new track, «Pusher», Justice's first ever collaboration with Gesaffelstein: more than seven minutes of electronic music you can listen to right now. Here's what's on the album, what it costs and how it differs from the soundtrack album that launches with the game.

What's on the Justice score?

30 tracks pulled from the full suite of music Justice composed for the game, plus a number of digital bonus tracks included across every format. All in, around three hours of music, according to IGN. It's mostly instrumental: the music that plays during missions and while you roam Leonida, not what's on the radio.

It includes «Flower in a Hurricane», the track with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard that debuted in the launch trailer and serves as the game's official theme. It's done well outside the console too: per IGN, it's Justice's first song as lead artist to hit the Billboard Hot 100 (peaking at No. 62).

The clever part is how it works in-game. Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay worked closely with Rockstar so the music reacts to what you do, shifting with the moment, the place and the way you play.

What does «Pusher» with Gesaffelstein sound like?

Dark and long. It runs around seven minutes: the first half rides a pounding bassline and siren-like synths that rise and fall; halfway through it all dissolves and comes back with a more disco feel, orchestra hits and strings that keep the tension up. It's a preview of the instrumental side of the album and Justice's first collaboration with Gesaffelstein, another heavyweight of French electronic music.

When is it out and in what formats?

Friday, December 11, 2026, three weeks after the game. Streaming and physical editions arrive at the same time, and pre-orders are open on Justice's site, which also lets you pre-save it on your streaming platform so it's there on day one.

How much is the vinyl?

At Rough Trade in the US, according to VICE, the black triple vinyl costs $54.99 and the limited crystal clear edition $59.99, while the double CD is $21.99. The crystal clear pressing is an indie-store exclusive, so don't sleep on it.

Wasn't there already a GTA 6 album?

Yes, and this isn't it. GTA 6: The Album is a different release: 34 songs with vocals from artists like Travis Scott, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, PinkPantheress and Yung Lean, and it comes out on November 19 alongside the game, as VGC points out. Then there are the radio stations, with Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey and Slayer among those already confirmed.

In short: The Album is songs; the radio is Leonida's soundtrack on the road; and the Justice record is the music behind Jason and Lucia's story. «The scope of the game is so large geographically and thematically that it was clear from the beginning the music would also have to be very broad in terms of emotions, genres, and textures», says de Rosnay. If «Pusher» is anything to go by, it'll sound very French and not very beachy.
