Frequently asked questions
Are there cheats in GTA 6?
None are known yet. They’ll be discovered after the November 19, 2026 launch and we’ll add them to this section, with the combo for each console.
Do cheats work online?
No. In the series cheats have only ever worked in story mode, and GTA 6 is expected to follow suit.
Do cheats disable trophies and achievements?
In GTA V they do: nothing unlocks during a session with cheats. Loading a save without cheats lets you earn them again. Rockstar hasn’t confirmed how GTA 6 will handle it.
Is there a money cheat in GTA 5?
No. GTA V never had a cheat for money or for spawning a tank; you have to earn it by playing, mainly through heists and the stock market.
Will you be able to dial cheats on the GTA 6 phone?
Possibly. In GTA V the character’s phone could activate them and in GTA 6 the phone is a key object again, but Rockstar hasn’t confirmed it.
